Welcome to Parenting SL a blog about being and navigating the virtual world of Second Life as a parent. Being a parent in SL is very complicated and runs through a huge portion of Second Life.  There are those who roleplay and have families in combat regions, to people who come together and create a family for the sake of having a family.  This is augmented by the fact that in Second Life we have animesh, mesh, sculpt, and even prim babies. If it is already sounding overwhelming, well I will not lie it is at times.  It is my hope to bring you and yes, even myself a little help navigating these nuances.  Along the way we will explore the tricks and gadgets you will need to make the experience fulfilling and less of a hassle.  I hope you take this journey with me, and it helps you navigate your Second Life as a parent.
